The CREDC team works collaboratively to support business recruitment, retention, expansion, and start-ups for companies in Clark County. 


 Max serves as CREDC's primary point of contact for local businesses seeking assistance with startup, growth or retention issues. Max previously held positions as Operations Manager for the Cascade Forest Conservancy, Special Assistant to the Office of the Chancellor at Washington State University Vancouver, and Legislative Assistant to Washington State Representative Tim Probst.  A Clark County native, Max holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs from Washington State University Vancouver and maintains proactive involvement on the National Board of Advisors for Washington State University’s Carson College of Business, the WSU Vancouver Carson College of Business advisory board, Creative Media and Digital Culture advisory board, Cascadia Technical Academy Foundation Board, and the Fort Vancouver National Trust.

 Elizabeth serves as the Director of Business Recruitment and is responsible for the planning and execution of activities that assist companies considering relocation to Clark County. Prior to joining the CREDC staff, she worked in environmental analysis. Elizabeth graduated with a B.A. in History and Sociology from the University of Tampa and holds a master's degree in Natural Resources from Virginia Tech.

 As Director of Strategy at the Columbia River Economic Development Council, Brittany Bagent manages research projects, local and regional policy, and Clark County’s Comprehensive Economic Development Plan implementation. Brittany previously worked as an urban planner for a private consulting firm in Chicago where she designed fiscal impact tools, economic development strategies, and feasibility studies. She holds a B.A. in Urban and Regional Planning from Miami University (Ohio) and a master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy with a concentration in economic development from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

  As Marketing & Events Manager, Samantha works on external marketing efforts including the website, social media, and creation of collateral, advertisements, and videos. Additionally, Samantha is CREDC's lead in coordinating and executing logistics for all events. Prior to joining the CREDC, Samantha served as Social Media Coordinator for the City of Vancouver and as an Event Producer with WE Plan It. Samantha holds a bachelor's degree from Washington State University Vancouver in Digital Technology and Culture
