The VP of Business Development is responsible for the execution and management of CREDC’s business development activities, focusing on the recruitment of companies and investors to Clark County through proactive canvassing efforts and the architecture of sophisticated long-term business relationships. The VP of Business Development will successfully integrate across internal and external stakeholders, reporting directly to the president of CREDC and working closely with the Relationships & Strategy Manager. In addition to traditional economic development-focused business development activities, this senior role will contribute to county-wide economic development initiatives across CREDC’s three strategic development goals.
Successful candidates for this position will be expected to exhibit strong initiative, a collaborative work style, and an exceptional level of professional judgement. The VP of Business Development may supervise relevant staff members as deemed appropriate.
